Kamino Finance Cryptography & Quantum Risk Profile
Verdict
Profile view: Kamino is not quantum-proof. Solana classical signatures authorize users; vault and risk-admin keys add protocol risk.
Overview
This is the Wave 7e network/profile page for Kamino Finance (app).
Kamino provides Solana liquidity vaults and lending products. Quantum risk is Solana keys plus protocol authorities.
LPs should understand admin pause/upgrade powers classically—and that algorithms are not PQC.

Cryptographic profile
- Signatures: Ed25519 (Solana), Program admin / risk manager keys
- Hash: Solana transaction hashing
- Public-key exposure: Lending/LP automation on Solana; admins and oracles matter.
What breaks
- Classical signatures authorizing KMNO value under Shor-class adversaries once public keys are known
- Custodial hot wallets and exchange operational keys
- Bridges, issuers, or operator sets outside ordinary user wallets
- Protocol admin, oracle, or guardian keys
Mitigations
- Inventory every key that can move KMNO (self-custody, exchange, multisig, protocol roles)
- Name the host chain and bridge path for every balance
- Document operator/admin sets for L2s and apps
- Track ecosystem PQC research; branding is not deployment
- Use /assessment and claims methodology pages for program framing
FAQ
Auto-LP vaults quantum-safe?
Automation is software; keys remain classical Ed25519-class on Solana.
