ML-KEM (Kyber)
NIST standardized lattice-based key encapsulation mechanism for general encryption and hybrid TLS.
Definition
ML-KEM is the FIPS standardized KEM derived from Kyber. It establishes shared secrets without RSA/ECDH and is the workhorse of many hybrid TLS deployments.
Operational concerns include public-key/ciphertext size, constant-time implementations, and hybrid combination with classical ECDH.
