Hybrid TLS
TLS key exchange combining classical ECDH with a PQC KEM so an attacker must break both.
Definition
Hybrid handshakes mix secrets from classical and PQC algorithms. If either algorithm remains unbroken, session keys stay confidential—useful while PQC implementations mature.
Tradeoffs include larger handshakes and middlebox compatibility testing.
