DoH / DoT
DNS over HTTPS or TLS—encrypts DNS queries in transit using TLS-class channels.
Definition
DoH and DoT hide DNS queries from on-path observers by wrapping them in TLS (or HTTPS). They address privacy of lookups, not DNSSEC authenticity.
Quantum risk follows the TLS handshake: classical-only key exchange remains HNDL-relevant for recorded sessions.
