Certificate Transparency (CT)
Public logging of issued certificates to detect mis-issuance—auditability, not session confidentiality.
Definition
Certificate Transparency logs help domain owners and researchers spot unexpected certificates. Browsers often require SCTs for public web trust.
CT does not replace hybrid TLS or PQC. Logs themselves use classical signatures today; treat CT as PKI hygiene.
