World Chain is not quantum-proof. Identity product features do not replace classical EVM signatures for transfers and DeFi.
Overview
World Chain is an OP-Stack L2 associated with World identity products. Separate biometric/identity claims from chain authorization crypto.
Inventory EOAs, bridges, and any app-level admin keys.
Exposure summary: Identity-linked product UX still settles to classical chain signatures for value. Signature surfaces: ECDSA-secp256k1 (EVM EOAs); OP-Stack operator keys as deployed. Inventory holders, operators, and any bridge/issuer paths before treating ETH as quantum-ready. Educational only.

What breaks
- Classical signatures authorizing ETH value under Shor-class adversaries once public keys are known
- Custodial hot wallets and exchange operational keys
- Bridges, issuers, or operator sets outside ordinary user wallets
- Sequencer / prover / upgrade keys on the L2 path
Mitigations
- Inventory every key that can move ETH (self-custody, exchange, multisig, protocol roles)
- Name the host chain and bridge path for every balance
- Document operator/admin sets for L2s and apps
- Track ecosystem PQC research; branding is not deployment
