Is MultiversX (EGLD) Quantum Proof?
Verdict
MultiversX is not quantum-proof. Account authentication uses classical public-key crypto; sharding architecture is orthogonal to PQC.
Overview
MultiversX (formerly Elrond) uses a sharded architecture for scale. Quantum risk for users remains signature schemes on accounts and validators.
Inventory EGLD treasuries and staking operator keys separately.
Exposure summary: Accounts public; sharding does not hide public keys from verifiers. Signature surfaces: Ed25519-class account signatures (verify); Validator keys. Inventory holders, operators, and any bridge/issuer paths before treating EGLD as quantum-ready. Educational only.

Mitigations
- Inventory every key that can move EGLD (self-custody, exchange, multisig, protocol roles)
- Name the host chain and bridge path for every balance
- Document operator/admin sets for L2s and apps
- Track ecosystem PQC research; branding is not deployment

Sharding is a scalability design, not a post-quantum algorithm.
Staking?
