Is Kaspa (KAS) Quantum Proof?
Verdict
Kaspa is not quantum-proof. Fast blockDAG throughput does not change classical ECDSA-family spend authorization.
Overview
Kaspa markets high-throughput PoW via a blockDAG architecture. Transaction authorization remains classical public-key cryptography for ordinary spends.
As with Bitcoin-family coins, separate mining discussions from signature theft. Address hygiene still applies.

- Classical signatures authorizing KAS value movement under Shor-class adversaries once public keys are known
- Custodial hot wallets and exchange operational keys
- Bridges or wrapped representations with concentrated signers (if used)
- Address reuse after public-key reveal
Mitigations
- Inventory every key that can move KAS (self-custody, exchange, multisig)
- Prefer multiparty / hardware policies for treasuries
- Document bridges and wrapped asset paths
- Track ecosystem PQC research; do not assume branding equals deployment
