Protocol for automated certificate issuance and renewal (e.g. Let’s Encrypt-class flows).
Definition
ACME automates proving domain control and obtaining certificates. It is operational excellence for short-lived certs—not a post-quantum algorithm.
Account keys, challenge channels, and issued leaf algorithms all still need inventory and agility planning.
