Is XDC Network (XDC) Quantum Proof?
Verdict
XDC Network is not quantum-proof by default. EVM-style classical signatures apply; trade-finance integrations need channel/PKI inventory too.
Overview
XDC positions toward enterprise trade-finance and EVM-compatible smart contracts. Quantum risk is dual: on-chain secp256k1 accounts and off-chain enterprise channels.
Cross-link core-banking/PKI education for institutional readers; use EVM hubs for account crypto.
Cryptographic profile
What breaks
- Classical signatures authorizing XDC value movement under Shor-class adversaries once public keys are known
- Custodial hot wallets and exchange operational keys
- Bridges or wrapped representations with concentrated signers (if used)
- EVM admin/upgrade keys on critical contracts
Mitigations
- Inventory every key that can move XDC (self-custody, exchange, multisig)
- Prefer multiparty / hardware policies for treasuries
- Document bridges and wrapped asset paths
- Track ecosystem PQC research; do not assume branding equals deployment
- Use /assessment and chain comparison hubs on this site for program framing
FAQ

Enterprise distribution does not imply PQC algorithms.
What to inventory?
EOAs, validators/masternodes as applicable, bridges, and enterprise TLS/PKI.
