Smart contract

Program on a blockchain that holds logic and often assets—admin keys and upgradeability define extra risk.

Definition

Smart contracts encode application rules on-chain. User interactions still require signatures; many contracts also have owners, multisigs, or proxies controlled by classical keys.

Quantum risk includes both user wallets calling the contract and privileged admin keys that can upgrade or pause systems.
